YWCA of the Hartford Region – Green Shoes Appeal – the “ask” that generated unprecedented individual contributions at their 2009 YWCA In the Company of Women fund raising luncheon. In just 7 minutes, Kathy stirred an emotional call to action among 1,400 distinguished guests at the event.  Watch the video re-enactment.

United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut. Kathy delivered presentation training for more than 100 volunteers who will deliver their 2009 Fall Campaign. See the training curriculum Fundamental Essential of High Engagement Presentations Customizing the training to seed United Way’s powerful message “Everyone Has Something to Give” made the experience both motivating and useful in achieving the United Way’s ambitious campaign goals.

Soroptimist International of the Northeast Region. Kathy gave her “Motivating Purpose” keynote address to help motivate more than 100 Soroptimist women at their 2008 Fall Conference. Key objectives of the talk were to increase commitment and focus to reach regional membership goals and re-connecting individual members to the organization’s mission which is  “to help improve the lives of women and girls in the local community and around the world.”
